Point Field

 20. 09. 2007 — Point fields compose the main positional, altimetric and gravity geodetic base   on the territory of the Czech Republic. We have been helping to create them for more than 15 years.

The basis of all surveying works is the construction of a point field. During this phase, a grid of points is designed that appropriately covers the territory of interest in a wat, that it can be effectively used for detailed surveying. These points are then stabilized in the field and the grid is located. The last phase consists of establishing coordinates and eventually establishing levels of various points with the help of the method of detached measurement levellment.

We especially adhere to the Official Notice no. 26/2007 a the Directions for the Renewal of the Cadastre Operate in its valid reading for the creation of point fields for the needs of the real estate cadastre. In the past we created in first line a detailed planimetric point field (PBPP) on the basis of the demand of the Czech Office for Surveying, Mapping and Cadastre. It was mostly the completion of the point field in built-up areas. Today it’s mostly the revision and completion of the existing PBPP in rural areas of the cadastre that are for the creation of the digital cadastre map (DCM) after land adaptations.

A separate chapter of the point fields is the creation of precise surveying grids in engineering structure (eg. highways and skyways), where there is high demand for inner accuracy.

The points of the point fields can be stabilised in different ways beginning with plastic signs up to granite monuments with manned plugs. After the alignment of the point fields, we utilize a combination of measuring methods with GPS, second total stations and technically precise and very precise levelling.
