Photogrammetric Mapping

 24. 10. 2007 — How does the data processing for photogrammetric mapping take place? Thanks to these processes we can obtain detailed information and precise up-to-date vector.

Aerial photography (especially large-scale) enables fast, precise and at the same time effective stereoscopic surveying of the planimetry and large territorial units.

Vector data obtained in this way are precise and up-to-date, because they are created according to the real situation (i.e. they have not been taken from an older existing map publication).

Further attributes can be easily added to the data (some can even be added during the photogrammetric evaluation process).

The resulting data are saved in a 3D vector format.

The planimetry and hypsography measuring is performed on very precise digital photogrammetric stations Intergraph Z/I ImageStation.
