Our effort to constantly improve the quality of our products brought us during the same year to the project of covering the importrant cities of the Czech Republic by orthophotomaps with the resolution 0.1 m/pixel.
Data with high resolution enable you to use the orthophotomaps for the solutions of more detailed tasks.
The name of the project is OrthoCity ČR and it is a set of continuous photography of important Czech cities over a two-year period. Our basis is verified findings from the creation of orthophotomaps of larger cities, where it comes to changes because of continuous building and inner structural changes.
How do we do it?
The technology of the OrthoCity ČR creation is based on the most modern photography technique.
The digital camera UltraCAM X od by Microsoft Vexcel enables us not only to offer coloured images, but also spectrozonal records suitable, for example, for the studies of vegetation cover and the health state of the soil.
The management and optimalization of the air photographic flight has been developed by our own people in the GEODIS GROUP. For this purpose we use the MASON navigation technologies with on-fly data pairing of the inertial Applanix unit and data returned by the digital camera.

The final output of the city photography is an orthophotomap with a high resolution 0,1 metru/pixel.
By request we will prepare a TrueOrtho option for you with the geometric correction of building placement - which means that the image does not show any shades.
