Mobile Mapping
Using the advantages of advanced survey methods (GPS, IMU, odometer, digital imagery and laser scanning), the system achieves reliable accuracy even when gathering data in densely built-up areas, city centers, vegetation covered areas and tunnels, where classic GPS technology fails. MM system can be installed on a car, a quad, a boat, a helicopter or any moving vehicle.
The interest area is covered by thousands of images and a millions of 3D laser points. The combination of the data creates a complete model suitable for mapping and analyses such as localization, measurement of objects in the panoramic images directly from your office chair, or creation of a realistic visualization.
MM system is a technology appreciated and used for asset management and planning by road authorities, railway authorities, waterways, integrated rescue systems, environmental agencies, estate agencies, etc.
Wide range of MM application:
- Mapping of street features (traffic signs, kerbs, bollards, lamp posts, manholes, water valves, etc.)
- Urban planning
- Illegal objects detection and mapping
- Road and infrastructure management
- Traffic signs inventory
- Vegetation inventory
- Utilities management
- Real estate agencies
- Documentation of buildings façades, their location and actual condition
- Waterways mapping (signs, buoys, moorings, locks, lighting...)
- Railroads mapping and assets management
