What can we use the digital terrain model for?
The quality elevation model, which we have elaborated for the entire territory of the Czech Republic is suitable for:
- elevation surveys,
- territory analysis,
- flood plans,
- drarge rates,
- 3D visualisations.
Our elevation model is available already for a small location, but also for the size of the administrative area of cities, municipalties, or even the whole repulic.
How is the digital terrain model created?
In applications with an interval of contour lines smaller than 1 metre, an accuracy can be reached that satisfies the needs of industrial standard and higher. The information on DTM is obtained on digital devices, usually through the form of lines of slope edges, channel edges and other areas of relief change. General hypsometry is then created by collecting 3D points in regular periods.
