Noise reducing in Seville, Spain

GEODIS BRNO is completing a mapping project to reduce noise in 11 km long section of the main road in Aljarafe, near the andalusian city Seville. This project is about soundproofing several sections of four-lane road. Along these roads, there are going to be installed noise barriers with noise absorbent surface. Total investment is 8 million €.

The ELMF is the premier event in Europe focussed on applying the technology of LIDAR and laser scanning to deliver outside mapping and imaging solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner across a variety of markets. The second ELMF is taking place in Salzburg, Austria from 29 – 30 November 2011.

INTERGEO 2011 Review

17th annual conference and exhibition INTERGEO were held in Nuremberg from 27th till 29th of September. GEODIS BRNO had an exhibition stand at the fair again where visitors could meet with news and portfolio of GEODIS‘ activities. Most of the visitors were interested in mobile mapping system, the latest service of our company, its data outputs and practical use.

20th GIS ESRI Conference in Prague

The 20^th GIS ESRI conference will take place in Prague Congress Centre in the Czech Republic on 9^th and 10^th of November 2011. This is a meeting of ESRI and ENVI users, people concerned about these software solutions and software developers of applications in ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server and other ESRI and ENVI software products.
