3D Models and Visualisations

 14. 01. 2008 — We consider ourselves as leaders in the area of 3D modelling. Our technological background and team of specialists are able to fulfill every task, as comlicated as it could be.

On the basis of performed photography it is possible to photogrammetrically survey 3D models of buildings and build-up areas. Stereoscopical evaluation enables to survey with the help of special technologies spatial shapes on objects with the detail corresponding to he scale of the images (height of the flight above the terrain).

Basically every architectural study is today supported by some kind of 3D visualisation of the designed object in relationship to its closest environment. Without a good visualisation it is not possible to approve larger land consolidations and it is only a matter of time, when this form becomes a obligatory part of the construction approval documentation. The interconnection of these virtual images of the digital city will be interesting from the view and necessity of data administration in public networks as well as the registration of used spatial areas in the 3D cadastre.

The headstone of 3D city models is a digital model of the built-up area, which can gather to different ceomlexities according to the intentions of its purchaser. Building models can be divided into three groups based on the complexity of the detail and the way of building modelation. These three groups are: the block model (without roof modelation) urban model (with roof modelation) and detailed building model (surveying even of objects on roof, segmentation after groundplots, surveying of greenery etc.).

We can measure and process a whole line of geographic data out of the aerial photography. These data can be visualised via 3D models. That is why we have introduced GeoShow3D into our portfolio that can clearly visualise these information.

The digital terrain model, on which various vector and raster layers are "placed", serves as the basis for the visualisation. The 3D orthophotomap, together with the 3D model of buildings or urban build-up area, appears very real. Index points are placed into the created 3D model of scenery or of the build-up area. Any multimedial information - like pictures, video, photographs, text documents, cross referencess to www pages etc - can be added to these index points. For the own browsing and movement through the scenery (city) we use predefined or on-line controlled transits over the scenery.

The GeoShow3D Lite version is accessible for free and enables the viewing of projects not only on computers bu also on various WWW information portals.
