3D modelling

 24. 10. 2007 — Three-dimensional (3D) modelling is an increasingly requested input for GIS. It enables the analysis of spatial relationships between 3D objects and to every element of the 3D object a non-graphic attribute can be added - eg. a database with the content of roof, facade, tenants etc. 3D city models become very popular.

Without a good visualisation of the proposal it is not possible to approve larger land modification and it is only a question of time until this form becomes a obligatory part of construction approval documentation.
