Image of the month November was taken during the laser scanning of revealed skeletal remains and coffins in the St. Jacob church’s crypt in the city of Brno. It displays, how is the terrain of some of our projects challenging, sometimes even scary...
Goal of the scanning was to determine coffins position and dimensions, which were cluttered up with bones. Scanning was made with the laser scanner Zoller Froehlich Imager5006i.
Final result of the scanning will be planimetric system with coffins‘ dimensions in the local crypt coordinate system. After scanning the bones were removed and archaeological research of the coffins is going to be prepared.
