GEODIS was sponsor of The Digital Earth Summit 2010 and the followed up 3th International Conference on Cartography & GIS. Both events have held in the beautiful city Nessebar located on the Bulgarian part of Black Sea in June of 2010.
23. 04. 2010 —
Today GEODIS BRNO purchased a fourth digital camera from VEXCEL company. Now our company already owns two digital cameras UltraCamX and two UltraCamXp.
20. 04. 2010 —
GEODIS BRNO gained a grant for a project focused on a "Complex Mapping System" development.
The project of 30 million CZK total budget was granted from Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations - ICT and Strategic Services programme, second call.
23. 02. 2010 —
GEODIS BRNO has become recognized as a leading European company realizing LPIS (Land Parcel Identification System) projects around the old continent. With experience from successful completion of LPIS projects throughout the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Poland and ongoing project in Slovenia, GEODIS has just recently finished project in this field in Macedonia.
19. 02. 2010 —
GEODIS BRNO has been involved in creation of a new topographic map of the James Ross island northern part with the scale of 1: 25,000. This custom work has been done in cooperation with the Czech Geological Survey that is actively participating in the research in Antarctica. The map illustrates a part of the Ulu peninsula where the Johan Gregor Mendel Czech base is located.
