Laser Point Clouds Acquired by Mobile Mapping, Hodonín, Czech Republic
The figure depicts the Hodonín wastewater treatment plant represented by a colored cloud of spatial points, which were acquired by the Topcon IP-S2 Mobile Mapping System.
3D points together with a set of panoramic images are a standard data output from the Mobile Mapping system. This model was processed and colored in software Bentley Microstation. Acquired data creates a detailed spatial documentation of any object. The point clouds and panoramic images form a basis for subsequent mapping, creation of CAD vector drawings, or building detailed virtual 3D models.
