Green Cadastre for Oradea

11. 06. 2009 — GEODIS won a contract for creation of the “Green Cadastre” for the city of Oradea, Romania. This project involves an ultimate geographically referenced database of urban vegetation, creation of green areas master plan and a feasibility study for further development of all the green areas in the city.

An essential part of the project is creation of a high resolution orthophoto accompanied with field surveying of the most important parks in the city. The total volume of the contract is 190,000 EUR and it will be implemented in 2009 and 2010.

GEODIS BRNO will cooperate on the project with another Brno located company - PZK a GIS, which is specialized in the area of urban vegetation. Prof. Ildiko Smith from Oradea, a leading expert in the Romanian landscape architecture, will be a key specialist of the project team.
