GEODIS GROUP was represented by TOPOGEODIS France sarl. and GEODIS BRNO, spol. s r.o. The presentation consisted of an attractive stand and a presentation of spanking new local geographic data acquired by the mobile mapping technology.
A day before the event, the mobile mapping apparatus was set up and the GEODIS guys scanned a part of Clermont-Ferrand historical town centre. Consequently, the data was processed and with an on-line help from colleagues in Brno, the project was visualized and successfully presented in software PanoramaGIS® during the conference.
Most of the 250 conference participants visited our stand, and also valued guests, for example the IGN CEO Patrice Parisé, Auvergne region ombudsman René Souchon, AFIGéO director and Vendée regional deputy Dominique Caillaud. The guests were interested in oblique imagery and mobile mapping technologies, and we hope they found answers to their needs in our solutions.
An interesting part of the conference was a common visit of the participants at a geological 5D show in Vulcania park, which is located in a picturesque scenery of volcanic range Massif central.
