GEODIS Gained New Certificates

16. 01. 2012 — The company GEODIS BRNO, spol. s r.o. gained in 2011 another TÜV SÜD certificates 8000:2005, 18001:2008 and 27001:2006 which will contribute to improving the information security management system, occupational health and work responsibility management.

With the SA 8000:2008 certificate has GEODIS BRNO implemented the social responsibility management system in the field of surveying and photogrammetric services, including related project activities and business services. Hereby GEODIS BRNO commits to compliance with applicable regulations in terms of labour relations and compliance with international conventions and declarations related to the definition of social responsibility in society, especially the Labour Code and related legislation.

With another certificate ČSN OHSAS 18001:2008 has GEODIS BRNO committed to performance of management system of occupational health and safety. The company is focused on prevention in OHSAS and related prevention of accidents and injuries. GEODIS BRNO uses available technological and organizational means to prevent any possibility of negative events, incidents and accidents.

GEODIS BRNO has also implemented the information security management system ČSN ISO/IEC 27001:2006. The benefit of this certification is an increase of competitiveness and extension of business opportunities. Other benefit is a decrease of risk related with information leakage or information loss, and also an increase of awareness of employees about the importance of information security when dealing with them.
