Digitized Cadastral Map for Public Authorities

Digitized cadastral map for municipalities is included as a layer in "Digital map for public authorities" in areas where a cadastral map maintained by the cadastral agency is available only in analogue (paper) form.

This map is a seamless cadastral map divided into cadastral areas. Its structure is based on Digital cadastral map structure and is projected in national coordinate system S-JTSK.

The digitized cadastral map is a topologically clean drawing in *.dgn and *.shp format. Each plot includes exactly one plot number. A list of discrepancies is created for each cadastral territory and these are solved by a corresponding cadastral office. The digitized cadastral map includes following features: cadastral territory boundary, plot boundary, inner drawing of the plot, and a plot number. The map precision depends on precision of the input data.

Such a digitized cadastral map was created for the entire South Moravian region (Jihomoravský kraj), Zlínský Region, Olomoucký Region, and partly for Plzeňský Region. The map is kept updated in all these regions in annual or semi-annual period. In the figure below one can see the versatile use of the digitized cadastral map overlaid with an orthophotomap. Tasks such as urban planning, design, ownership issues, detection of illegal constructions, selection of the land by owners, by land use or other tasks cannot be procured without a digitized vector cadastral map.
